At nine years old, I brought my trusty little point-and-shoot camera with me absolutely everywhere. That instinct to document the beauty woven into the mundane never faded, it just grew with me. Motherhood has solidified my belief that the most valuable photos aren't the glamorous, perfectly polished ones- but the unguarded, authentic, heartfelt ones we let our families be seen in.


While being in a juggling act of a season of life myself, it's important to me that I keep creating photos that serve as a reminder for myself and hopefully for you, too: Jesus' faithfulness to us can be spotted everywhere, and especially in these humble, ordinary days spent nurturing our young families.


Aside from photography, some of my favorite things are slow days spent at home with my kids (if there happens to be soup on the stove and the looming threat of a severe thunderstorm, 100x better), treasure hunting at thrift stores, baking something just because, and sushi dates with my husband, Alex, who is actually the funniest person I've ever met.
